DIRECT EXAMINATION OF JAMES SUDBURY BY MR. FOGLEMAN:

On May 10th, 1993 I had a conversation with Echols. (TR 2313) According to my subject description Ridge and I talked to him at 11:54 A.M. During the time I talked to him no force, promises, threats or coercion was used to get him to talk or say anything. I really couldn't say how he got to the police department. I think either he brought himself or his mother brought him.

CROSS EXAMINATION OF JAMES SUDBURY BY MR. DAVIDSON:

I started talking with him when that form was filled out at 11:54 A.M. I couldn't say when I stopped talking with him. I do not know how long I talked to him. Ridge was the lead investigator. I was more or less sitting in. Any statements he would have made occurred after 11:54 but you cannot tell when. (TR 2314) I couldn't tell you if it was 12:00, 12:06 or thereafter.
