I Det. Sgt Mike Allen went to the Ashley residence located in Highland Trailer Park and talked with Charles A. Ashley, JR, age 16. Charles A. Ashley JR was asked how long he had known Jessie Misskelley JR + he stated all of his life. Charles A. Ashley JR was asked if he saw Jessie Misskelley JR on the day of May5th, 1993 + he Charles A. Ashley JR related as follows:
Stated the evening that Connie Molder slapped Cody, Stephanie Dollars son at Highland Trailer Park that three police cars came down near in front of his house + that he was by himself + that he Jessie Misskelley JR stayed a few

minutes and walked back north down toward the end of the trailer park. He stated he didn't know what time it was but that Stephanie Dollar showed him a police report and that it was 6:30 PM. He Charles A. Ashley JR didn't see Jessie Misskelley JR anymore that evening.
Det. Allen asked Charles Ashley JR if he had ever seen Jessie Misskelley JR with Jason Baldwin or Damien Echols. He stated that Jessie Misskelley JR and Jason Baldwin stayed together a lot + that Jessie Misskelley JR used to live in Lakeshore. Charles Ashley JR stated that he has seen Damien Echols about 2 or 3 times walking by himself coming from the wooded

Stated that Jessie Misskelley JR liked kids + he didn't think he would kill a kid.
He (Charles Ashley JR) referred to Jessie Misskelley JR as his cousin. Charles Ashley JR stepmother Patsy Ellington who lives with Charles Ashley SR is Jessie Misskelley's aunt.
