Davidson: Ok, you were across the street from your cousin - er, from your house at your cousin's house, is that correct?

Sanders: Yes sir.

Davidson: Now uh - that was just right across the street on Balfour, is that correct?

Davidson: Could you see from where you were uh - could you see across the street and see the driveway?

Sanders: Yes sir.

Davidson: And uh - do you have any idea how long they were there, across the street at your house?

Sanders: When I looked back out it was a little bit after - it was about 15 after 7 and they were leaving.

Davidson: Ok and when they left, uh - who did you see leaving?

Sanders: Um - I seen 4 people in the car - I seen 4 heads, so I assumed it was Pam and Joe and Damien and his sister, Michelle.

Sanders: Um hmm.

Davidson: That's all.

(pause)

Davis: If I understand your testimony correctly, it's Stacy Sanders - is that correct?

Sanders: Yes sir.

Davis: Ok, Miss Sanders, if I understand your testimony correctly, you said you saw 3 people go in the house?

Sanders: Yes sir.

Davis: Ok. And you saw 3 people come out of the house, correct?

Sanders: Yes sir.

Davis: Ok. And how frequently would the Hutchinsons and their children come over to visit at your parents' house?

Sanders: All the time.

Davis: Ok. When you say "All the time", could - I mean -

Sanders: Just, if we - if they didn't come over our house one day, we'd go over there, so we seen them everyday just about.

Davis: Ok, how close a relationship or could you describe the relationship between your family and the Hutchinsons?

Sanders: Um, my parents and their parents have been close for years.

Davis: Ok. And since they had moved back to Oregon - back here from Oregon, had they come over to the house 2, 3, 4 times a week -

Sanders: - Um hmm.

Davis: - During that period?

Sanders: When they first came back, they lived with us for a little while.

Davis: Ok and prior to them moving back here, sometime when you were growing up, ya'll actually lived in the same house together for practically a year, right?

Sanders: Yes sir.

Davis: Would it be fair to state that their children were kindly like brothers and sisters to you?

Sanders: Yes sir.

Davis: Ok. Now when you talked with Mr. Fogleman, did you indicate to him that it was 2 days later after you saw this incident when Damien was arrested?

Sanders: Two days later?

Davis: Yes ma'am, you said uh - did you say -

Sanders: - He went into questioning, he wasn't arrested until in June.

Davis: Ok, when you talked with him in Septmember of this year, September 2nd, I believe, did you tell him "because I remember, I think it was 2 days later they went again and that's when Damien got arrested, I think that was then"?

Sanders: Ok, I don't remember.

Davis: Ok. And who have you talked with about the facts that took place on May 5th? Who did you discuss 'em with?

Sanders: I - well, when before, it was all going around, I talked with my mom.

Davis: Ok, anybody else?

Sanders: Me and Meridith talked about it.

Davis: And that's, who is Meridith?

Sanders: Meridith, that's my cousin.

Davis: Ok, did ya''ll -

Sanders: - That's -

Davis: - Did ya'll go back and get together and sit down and go over the facts -

Sanders: - No.

Davis: - Go over what you remember?

Sanders: No, not really.

Davis: Ok, have you talked or discussed it with anyone else?

Sanders: Not really.

Davis: Ok, have you ever talked with the private investigator, Mr. Lax about -

Sanders: - No.

Davis: - What your statement would be?

Sanders: No.

Davis: Have you talked with the defense attorneys about what your testimony would be?

Sanders: They just said that I would be supeanoed to come in and talk because he was at my house that night.

Davis: Ok.

Sanders: That's all that basically has been said.

Davis: Have they ever gone over with you the facts or details of your statement?

Sanders: Not really, they've asked me questions about it - I mean, not really - they didn't tell me what to say, they just asked me questions and then I answered them and -

Davis: Had - did the Hutchinsons come over to the house on other Wednesday nights prior to that?

Sanders: Yeah, sure.

Davis: Did they come over to your house on other Wednesday nights after that?

Sanders: Sure.

Davis: Ok. Did your folks go to Splash Casino on other occassions?

Sanders: Yes.

Davis: And in fact, were you present on an occassion sometime around there when Damien, Jason, and another individual came over to the house around 9:00 uh - one evening walking, when they were walking in the neighborhood?

Sanders: They did that quite a few times.

Davis: Ok. So it wasn't unusual for them to come over there on a Wednesday evening?

Sanders: (indicating)

Davis: Ok. And you say they left by 7:15?

Sanders: Um hmm.

Davis: No further questions your Honor.

The Court: Anything else?

Davidson: Nothing further.

The Court: Alright, you may stand down. Call your next witness.
