On May 5th Wednesday 1993 I was working on a house owned by marvin Bettis of Earle, ARK. This house is located between Marion and Crawfordsville beside the Bettis Equipt. Co.
I left this job approx 5:30pm accompanied by Charles Carter of 123 Stuart.
We drove to ingram Flash Market where Charles got a pack of cigarettes and I got a can of Kodiak.
During this stop I recognized Mark Byers gasing up his car and talking to a policeman.
Another policeman drove up and began to speak to him as we left at 6:00 - 6:30pm
I took Charles home and drove home at approx 6:20 - 6:45 to get ready to go to church at Liberty Baptist Church located at 404 N. 14th St. for 7:00pm we left church between 8:30pm & 9:00pm
Went home and stayed.
I remember this because my wife told me Mark's son was missing when I got home before church.
I have known Mark and Melissa for a period of 2 years meeting them 2 times in their jewelry store and 3 or 4 times during some contract bidding on their home during this past winter on fire damage.
