DABBS: I am Det. C. Dabbs, of the West Memphis Police Department, taking a statement from Tabetha Hollingsworth. Todays date is 5/20/93, it is 3:26PM. Tabetha, I want you to tell me, a brief statement on what all occurred on Wednesday, 05/05/93.
TABETHA: Well, first that night, we were going to get my aunt from work, and L.G. seen Damian nem walking, walking back from over there by that place where
them kids that got killed at.
DABBS: Robin Hood, Robin Hood Lane over there
TABETHA: Yeah
DABBS: Approximately where were they when you saw them.
TABETHA: They were coming down by Luv's, they right beside the place, cause they were walking back this way, walking back towards Luv's
DABBS: Toward Luv's?
TABETHA: Yeah
DABBS: On the Service Road or the shoulder?
TABETHA: On the, yeah
DABBS: Okay, uh could you tell what they were wearing?
TABETHA: Well, Damian had, uh Dominic had black pants on with holes in the knees, and she had on a long black shirt and he was wearing all black, he had black boots on black shirt, black pants on, and they were muddy.
DABBS: Okay, who were in the car with you that night?
TABETHA: Mommy, Anthony, me, Daddy, just our family
DABBS: Okay, and where were you all going?
TABETHA: To uh, my grandmother's work
DABBS: To pick up your aunt at work?
TABETHA: Yeah, my grandmother.
DABBS: Grandmother?
TABETHA: Yeah
DABBS: Where does she work?
TABETHA: Over there at Flash Market
DABBS: At the Flash Market?
TABETHA: Yeah, at the laundry mat.
DABBS: Laundry mat?
TABETHA: Yeah
DABBS: Approximately what time was this, when you all were going to pick them up?
TABETHA: About 9 or 9:30
DABBS: Okay, and you all were going on the South Service Road, towards Ingram to the Flash Market?
TABETHA: Yeah, we went down by Luv's though.
DABBS: Alright, you said before you to Luv's you saw Damian and Dominic
TABETHA: Uh, uh
DABBS: And they were on the side of the road walking, which direction?
TABETHA: Walking back this
DABBS: East or west? Like walking back in this direction?
TABETHA: Yeah
DABBS: Okay, that would be west, did you notice anything about the way that they were dressed or anything, could you get a real view of them, there's no doubt that you saw them?
TABETHA: No doubt in my mind, I seen them, they were all muddy
DABBS: They were all muddy?
TABETHA: Muddy
DABBS: Okay, where did you all, you went on to the Flash Market you said?
TABETHA: Yeah
DABBS: And picked up your grandmother?
TABETHA: Yeah
DABBS: And then what happened, did you all come straight home or what?
TABETHA: Yeah, we came straight back.
DABBS: Okay, did you all happen to see them on the way back home?
TABETHA: Naw
DABBS: Where do you live here at Lakeshore?
TABETHA: Uh, live on the back street
DABBS: On Sycamore?
TABETHA: Yeah, 1420 Sycamore
DABBS: Okay, did you anybody else with Dominic and Damian?
TABETHA: No
DABBS: But, you are definite that you saw them approximately 9:30 that night?
TABETHA: Yeah
DABBS: And there is no doubt in your mind who you saw?
TABETHA: No doubt in my mind, I know that was her, I know her
DABBS: Did anybody in the car recognize them?
TABETHA: Yeah
DABBS: Okay, did anybody make a statement that, there's Domin and Damien?
TABETHA: Mommy did
DABBS: Is there anything else that you know about, uh Domini and Damien, that we need to know?
TABETHA: That's all I know, I don't know no more.
DABBS: Okay, are you all friends, or how do you know them?
TABETHA: Naw, we are not, we use to hang around a lot when we were in school.
DABBS: So, you associated with them through school?
TABETHA: Yeah
DABBS: You went to school with Dominic?
TABETHA: Yeah
DABBS: What about Damian?
TABETHA: I know him, she showed me him
DABBS: She introduced you to him?
TABETHA: Yeah
DABBS: Where at her house?
TABETHA: Yeah
DABBS: Does he come over there a lot?
TABEHTA: Yeah, he just live right around behind us.
DABBS: Live right behind you, here?
TABETHA: Yeah
DABBS: What do you think about Damian?
TABETHA: I think he's a devil worshiper, I don't like him.
DABBS: How do you know that he's a deveil worshiper?
TABETHA: He makes signs on the street and all of that, and he' go back under the bridge and makes of the devil.
DABBS: Has he ever tried to talk you into joining with him?
TABETHA: Ugh, ugh, cause I don't go around him.
DABBS: What about Dominic?
TABETHA: No
DABBS: Does Dominic know that he's a devil worshiper?
TABETHA: Yes
DABBS: What does she have to say about it?
TABETHA: She doesn't say nothing about, I guess she don't care.
DABBS: She doesn't care, do you know a Justin?
TABETHA: Justin
DABBS: I mean a Jason?
TABETHA: Yeah
DABBS: What's his name?
TABETHA: I don't know his last name, I know where he lives though.
DABBS: Is he friends with Damian?
TABETHA: Yeah
DABBS: And Dominic?
TABETHA: Yep, very good friends, they walk around with each other all the time.
DABBS: Does he know Damian?
TABETHA: Yeah
DABBS: Does he try to get into it too?
TABETHA: As for as I know, yeah
DABBS: Do they ever act real strange or do anything out of t way?
TABETHA: They act strange all the time
DABBS: All the time? Have you ever known of anything that, you ever seen them together up, you say they camp out on this ditch here?
TABETHA: Yeah, they go back there to the river all the time.
DABBS: Have you ever heard anybody else talk about them?
TABETHA: Naw
DABBS: Okay, uh back to that night, Wednesday night at 9 o'clock, let's go over that one more time. You said it was approximately 9:15 to 9:30
TABETHA: Yeah
DABBS: And uh, you said your grandmother called
TABETHA: She wanted a ride home from work
DABBS: So, you and the rest of the family got into the car,
TABETHA: Yeah
DABBS: And uh, went to pick her up, we all drove up back into towards West Memphis, got on the Service Road going to Ingram and you said, you saw Damian and Dominic on the side of the road, walking towards
TABETHA: Yeah, mommy said, there's Damian and Dominic, I looked over there and it was them.
DABBS: Okay, and they were, tell me how they dressed again?
TABETHA: Wearing all black
DABBS: Both of them?
TABETHA: Yeah, but she had holes in her pants, knees were out
DABBS: Knees were out of them
TABEHTA: Yeah
DABBS: And what did they look like?
TABETHA: Muddy
DABBS: So, they were both muddy?
TABETHA: Yeah
DABBS: Was it raining at the time?
TABETHA: Ugh,ugh
DABBS: Had it been raining earlier?
TABETHA: No
DABBS: Okay, is there anything else you want to tell me?
TABETHA: That's it.
